Make Po Rich!

Po's new book, Why Do I Love These People?, came out on Tuesday. In an approach similar to the one he took in the bestselling "What Should I Do with My Life?", Po talks to twenty families who are dealing with internal crises, and how they resolve those issues to try to stay together.
Here is an excerpt from the book:

"We all have an imaginary definition of a great family. We imagine what it would be like to belong to such a family. No fights over the holidays. No getting on one another's nerves. Respect for individual identity. Mutual support, without being intrusive. So many people believe they are disqualified from having a better family experience, primarily because they compare their own family with the mythic ideal, and their reality falls short. Is that a fair standard to judge against?"

Run out and buy the book as soon as possible. Tell your friends about it. Get the word of mouth going.
The person who gets the most books sold will get one of the wings of the Bronson Estate in San Francisco named after them and lifetime visiting privileges at said location.

Geography of Abortion Law

Abortion never legal, or legal only when necessary to save the life of the mother or protect her physical health.

Abortion legal in "hard cases", such as rape, incest, and/or deformed child.

Abortion legal for social reasons (e.g. mother says she can't afford a child), or to protect the mother's "mental health" (definitions and requirements vary).

Abortion legal at any time during pregnancy for any reason.

I cannot attest to the accuracy of the plot. For example, although the U.S. is colored purple, my understanding is that at least some states have some restriction on third-trimester abortion. But maybe that's no longer true.

Anyway, the plot is interesting.
