Congrats!

The Astros shook off the Game 5 hangover, stifled the Cardinals' hitters, and head to Chicago for the team's first-ever World Series.
Both the Astros and White Sox have the best pitching rotations in the league, so look for a lot of fast, low-scoring games that will be reminiscent of baseball's glory days before steroids and juiced balls and bats.
Good Luck Astros!

Let's hope they can shake off 0-2 to the White Sox now. So much for predictions of "old school" W.S.! The disappointing thing for the Astros is that they are actually scoring runs, but their pen is choking!
(That 3-2 pitch to Dye DID hit his bat!)
(At least the Longhorns won - note they are now #1 in the Colley Matrix standings, which is the only computer poll that actually publishes its algorithm. This is the one that had Texas as low as #9 previously, and Penn St #1. But his method seems right to me, and I predict he will match up pretty well by the end of the season with the human polls. Since Colley doesn't consider a priori information, you'd expect it to diverge from the human polls early in the season, which are colored by expectations)
