Holiday Plans
Where is everyone going to be for the holidays?
Let us know your plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and maybe a couple of us will be in the same place at the same time (like Russell and Tom or Walter and Julia possibly).
Kyung and I will be in Los Angeles for both holidays.
We are both working on Thanksgiving (the news doesn't take a holiday) and our moms are both coming to Los Angeles for Christmas.
Picture a Korean-born religious, very traditional mom (Kyung's) vs. a Southern, brassy, loud mom (mine) and you have the ingredients for a very scary Christmas or at least a good sitcom.
Where are y'all going to be?

Vanessa and I shall be in the Denver area; we have a new baby due around Dec 12. The baptism is scheduled for Jan 01, and my parents will be coming from San Antonio. My brother Charles and his wife will be coming from the Bay Area. My brother Christopher and his family will be coming from Austin.
My wife wants everyone's actual mailing address. I think that posting mailing addresses here might be a bad idea. I should like to ask for that information by e-mail, I suppose, but I think that I don't have every e-mail address. Curtis, do you have the complete list?
I feel guilty because after seeing Russell's parents (who live in the Denver area) at Po's book signing here, I haven't contacted them again.

Well, Chris, the kids and I will be in Knoxville,TN (where we live) for both holidays. Chris has been very busy traveling to CA, and with work in general, so we are going to stay home for the first time since the kids have been around and relax. We should have an interesting group at Thanksgiving. We have invited one couple over who he is ex-Navy, and she is a retired teacher via Juilliard, and a couple who he has designed theme parks throughout the world, and his wife who is from Taiwan was involved in international marketing and has one of the best sense of humors I have been around (dry wit). I think it will be a lot of fun with the diversity of backgrounds. For Christmas it will just be us, and I am threatening Chris with starting family traditions which he is blanching at since he is such the bah-humbug at Christmas. If any of you ever visit the Smokies, look us up we would love to see you. Happy holidays.

THIS MESSAGE IS FROM JULIA
We're going to be in Due West, SC, and Brevard, NC, for Thanksgiving and we're staying in Biloxi for Christmas. We're headed to SA on Nov. 11, though. Clare and I are staying until Nov. 17, but Patrick is leaving earlier. It's my parents' 50th wedding anniversary!! AND Kathleen and David are expecting child #3 in May. More Meriwether grandchildren than you can shake a stick at. New Baby will be #12 for mom and dad.
THAT MESSAGE WAS FROM JULIA
